The Profile Page shows information specific to a particular user. Your Profile Page displays photo activity on your photos. This can include your photo uploads, comments on your photos, rating changes on your photos and tags on your photos. Your Profile Page also displays recent website activities that you are part of.
Viewing a friend's Profile Page shows recent activities on their photos which can include photo uploads, comments and rating changes. Their Profile Page also shows other recent activity such as new friends made and message board conversations.
Profile Page Owner Information Box.
This box near the top displays a picture of the user who's profile page is being displayed or the default avatar if none has been uploaded. Information about the owner of the Profile page is shown in this information box. This can include status, birthday, location, camera, lenses and tags.
Photo Activity Box
The Photo Activity Box keeps you up to date with the latest activity on your photos and the photos of your friends. If you are viewing your profile, only the activity on your photos will be displayed. If you are viewing a friends profile page, only the activity on their photos will be displayed. There are four types of photo activity that can be displayed.
- Uploaded Photos:
- Shows recent photos a friend has uploaded
- Moving the cursor over the preview thumbnail will display other photos uploaded
- Clicking on the thumbnail will display all the photos that were uploaded
- Comments
- Displays comments made on your photos and your friends photos
- Rating Change:
- Displays rating changes on your photos and your friends photos
- Tagged:
- Shows new photo tags on your your photos
The user can also make a comment on the photo by clicking on the “comment” link.
Clicking on any friends name will take the user to that friends profile page.
Friends Box
This section shows a random sample of the your friends. Clicking on a friend’s name will take you to their Profile Page. The number of friends that you have is shown in the header.
Recent Website Activity Box
This section shows new friends that the user or his friends have made, and messages between friends. You can write a message on a friends profile page by typing in the text box and clicking the submit button. Clicking on a name will take the user to that person’s Profile Page. Clicking on “comment” will allow the user to join the conversation.
